Mystery, intrigue and a little horror I found Celeste's tales of dark romance captivating in their lush descriptions and astute insight to dark emotions and fantasy.
Each tale was a fast and exciting read that transported me into the lives and situations of the characters and time periods. Celeste's writing does not stray away from accurately depicting the flaws of each character, and their weaknesses make the stories relatable, human and fun to read. There's nothing here that kept me awake at night, but they passed the time nicely enough.. A good book for those who like horror stories that are not too scary. Just some lonely night creatures looking for love. I liked the last one of a little vampire looking for a family. Unfortunately, I didn't like any of the stories, they were a bit amateurish and I did not engage with the characters or the tales themselves.
